Digital Library Manager
Bethel University

  • Collaborates with campus partners to plan and implement digital collections of Bethel’s scholarly, historical, and cultural materials (i.e. History Center/Archives, Permanent Art Collection, Biology Department, Faculty Development, etc.)
  • Maintains awareness and develop professional expertise in new technologies, relevant national and international standards, disciplinary standards, and best practices for digital collections and projects (metadata, software, hardware, intellectual property)
  • Works to promote scholarly communication through digital repository and publishing services to campus faculty, staff, and students
  • Supervises Digital Library student workers and volunteers
  • Administers the Library’s digital asset management system (CONTENTdm)
  • Creates web interfaces for repository resources
  • Prepares online exhibits
  • Promotes use of Library’s digital collections through classroom demonstrations, meetings, and professional conferences
